Thank you so much for purchasing my bouquets, they’ve been grown with love and care all year. As a lifelong gardener, flowers are my passion and I hope they bless you as much as they bless me to share.

Getting the most from your cut flowers

Your flowers have been fresh-cut within 24 hours. They have been conditioned overnight in fresh water and flower food to help them retain moisture and be the perkiest they can for your enjoyment!

Fresh Clean Water

When you receive your flowers, they will be good for 24 hours soaking up their food water. Please be diligent to refresh your arrangement with cool clean water daily. Some stems are big drinkers and can take up to half the vase water in a day. A cut stem’s biggest enemy is debris in the water, it will plug up the stems and keep them from hydrating. To maximize vase life, refresh your vase daily with clean water.

Trimming The Stems

Its important that flower stems get trimmed every couple of days. Trim the bottom of the stem at a 45 degree angle, this lets the stems absorb the water freely and stay hydrated. Keep them away from sunlight and fresh fruit. Sunlight breaks down plants rapidly, once they’ve been cut, keep them out of direct sunlight. Ethylene gas produced by fruit will encourage wilting and decay in your flowers, keep them away from fresh fruit.

Paying attention to your bouquet

Some flower cultivars fade faster than others. Remove spent stems from your vase to let the others shine. You can add flowers from your own yard to refresh your arrangement and keep it going for weeks!
